Nancy and Jon, all packed up and ready to lave the Salt after the rains at
World of Speed in September of 2006.

Here you can see the viewing deck Jon built on the roof of the trailer ...
... at the Salt Flats it’s so flat that vehicles "go over the horizon" within a few miles,
so watching from 9 feet above the surface gives a much-improved view of the event.
